On August 6th EMCC held an adult youth tournament at MTL. It was a 3 person format with a max of 2 adults. It's a good opportunity to introduce the kids or yourself and the kids to tournament fishing for crappie. The kids all get something to take home and put in there tackle box or at least a reason to get a tackle box started. The weigh in is followed by a bbq of hot dogs and burgers and if the kids didn't get enough fishing in on the lake they can do some more at the catch and release pond at South fork Resort. Big thanks to these guys for sponsoring the club and hosting events like this. Thanks to all who participated and all of our sponsors. Hopefully the day made some more life long fishermen and fisherwomen. We also drew the Cardinals tickets with the proceeds going to relay for life and the winner was Ed Nichols .

July Tournament Update
On July 23 2011 EMCC held a Jack and Jill tournament at Mark Twain Lake. This was a fund raiser for Breast cancer research. We had 31 boats and hope to see twice that number next year. Please tell all your friends to keep an eye out for us next year. Fishing, good food , live auction and all for a good cause. And for only $100.00 a boat what a deal. We donated $4100.00 to breast cancer research this year and with your help maybe we can reach $10,000.00 next year. Thanks to all who participated this year and hope to see a lot of new faces next year. Big thanks to 154 Marine for hosting the event and also all of our other sponsors and supporters.

Thanks to all that came out and we hope to see you and some new folks at the next tournament. It will be July 23rd with the meeting July 22 at 7pm at 154 Marine. This is our Jack and Jill tournament with all proceeds going to cancer research. This is an open tournament so you DO NOT have to be a member to fish. $100.00 per boat 1 male 1 female.
